We see our task as to provide advice in a “supporting notion” and not simply to give advice.

For us, consulting is a communicative exchange, in which we want to participate by using anthropological methods and competences. We reject paternalistic understandings in which the consultant acts from “above” and is all-knowing. We prefer complementary perspectives and mutual learning processes at eye level.

Sustainable results are only reachable in a cooperative manner and therefore partnership is the main principle of our consulting work.

We see our strength in the combination of our expert knowledge (information) and consulting knowledge (communicative, problem solving oriented competences). For us, it is not simply about know-how-transfer, but about giving professional assistance to a joint search for solution strategies and common elaboration of clear work concepts.

Following this social scientific understanding of consulting, the evaluation will be part of the consulting process too. Our aim is to ensure and increase the quality and sustainability of our partners' work. Thus our offer includes reflection of our partners' projects by using social scientific evaluation techniques.
